Perfect little cabin nestled in Black Forest conveniently located next to the cafe! Beds were super comfortable and we had everything we need for our stay! Love the fenced in yard and access to laundry is always a plus!

Excellent property that feels somewhat remote but is just a short drive from the highway and less than an hour drive from Denver. The space was welcoming, clean, and exactly as pictured. The host was very responsive and the instructions were clear. Great stay!

We just had the most amazing stay at Shelly's Mountainside Retreat. This was a last minute booking for us and Shelly was so accommodating. She even left us a personal welcome! We were a little hesitant because we have never stayed south of the Air Force Academy. Boy were we wrong. The location is perfect! The views are amazing. The neighborhood is quiet and is a quick exit away from the south gate at USAFA. Every afternoon we had a visit from the cutest mule deer. This house has been completely remodeled and has everything you need. My husband even had a great workspace! This house was so clean and well managed. I had a few questions throughout our stay and Shelly is responsive and so helpful! We will definitely be back!

This place was so perfect for my kids and our family. It was so beautiful and peaceful. Loved the ascetic as well. The kitchen had lots of pots and pans, etc to use which was helpful.

Our stay was amazing, my family & I had a great time, it felt like home away from home , the house is very clean & well kept, it had everything we needed and more ! Also with a beautiful view right outside the window !

I appreciated the welcoming extras, the spaghetti dinner ready to fix and the coffee station. The kitchen was well equipped. The thing i appreciated most was her quick response to a common glitch in a home. A breaker tripped and I couldn't locate the breaker box. She responded quickly, helped me locate the box and power restored quickly. She cares about her clients.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The space was everything we hoped for and truly lived up to its name. It was cozy to settle into, easy to feel at home, which made it such a lovely place to host our guests. Communication with the host was thoughtful and seamless, and we felt well cared for from start to finish. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place and would love to return.

Beautiful setting for our friend getaway. Perfect layout with split bedrooms, large bathrooms and comfortable beds. Felt like you were in the middle of nowhere, yet town was just down the road. Well stocked kitchen with everything we needed, including a crockpot and a tea kettle. Host Shelly was very accommodating and most flexible with us as we had to change our dates twice due to weather on our end. Definitely recommend when staying in the Colorado Springs area.

The care and quality invested in this property are obvious. This facility is among the top 3/50 airbnb stays for us. The build is beautiful and feels luxurious. The space is very clean, comfortable and well appointed. There are comfortable seating options throughout; all the furniture is quality. This would be a wonderful home for a cousins gathering (fun sleeping quarters for children and outdoor play equipment). We would definitely stay again.

First of all, thank you so much for allowing me and my friends to stay in your home for our ski trip to celebrate my birthday. We truly had an amazing experience and had everything we needed, including rags, towels, and other essentials. The host communicated quickly and clearly, and even sent us an itinerary of activities we could do while visiting, which was super helpful and thoughtful , honestly made everything so easy. The house was very clean, super nice, and honestly looked even better in person — a solid 10/10. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, and we weren’t bothered at all, which I really appreciated based on past experiences. We were especially excited to see snow for the first time. We didn’t see any when we first landed, which was a little disappointing, but once we arrived at the Airbnb and saw the snow, it completely made up for it — another 10/10 experience. I would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again!
